Greenville Post 3 Warbirds Season Complete

 

The Warbirds deep playoff run ended on Monday night in Lexington with a loss against longtime state powerhouse Florence. After winning three out of its first four playoff games, the Warbirds were one of the final six teams playing in the Senior division which started the summer with 28 teams in the state. The future looks bright for the Warbirds as up to 17 players from this year's roster could return for the 2026 season.

Greenville Post 3 Warbirds Win League 6

 

After a four season hiatus, Greenville's American Legion Post 3 returned this summer and went 8-4 in League 6 to capture the regular season title. The Warbirds won each of their four game series two games to one - despite losing the first game of the series in three matchups. 

 

The Warbirds clinched home field advantage for their best of 3 first round playoff series against Chesnee which will begin on Monday, July 21 at Furman's Latham Field. The Warbirds will then go on the road on Tuesday and would return home Wednesday if Game 3 is necessary.

Greenville Post 3 Baseball is Back! 

 

Greenville's American Legion Post 3 will field a 19U baseball team again this summer after a short hiatus. Weeknight baseball will return with the Warbirds playing in June and July at Furman's Latham Field thanks to a partnership with Ingles. The Warbirds will square off against rival Upstate Posts including Anderson, Easley, Golden Strip, Greenwood and Greer.  

 

Schools in the Greenville Post 3 assigned territory include: Carolina, Christ Church Episcopal, Greenville, JL Mann, Southside and St. Joseph's.

Tryouts for the Warbirds are tentatively set for May 19 and 21 at Furman University. Click the button above to register. 

 

NOTE: The team will consist of approximately 20 players age 19U from Greenville High, JL Mann, Mauldin, St. Joe's, Christ Church, Southside High and Carolina High. Current college freshman born after Jan. 1, 2007 are also eligible to play if they attended one of these high schools.
